My girlfriend is now employed!
Finally. Phew. Overall it took more than two months to find a simple part time entry level accountancy position. Finding an office job in London is a lot more complicated than finding a regular job. Well unless you’re a software engineer then it’s quite the opposite.
It’s very hard to get to interviews without having actual work experience. One might think how are you supposed to get experience without having a job? The irony is most such people get employed for less than a waiter at mc’donalds.
The other tricky part is .. Even if it’s London and it has new job offers every day.. There’s also potentially 14 million people competing for those jobs, that’s why you have to stand out in every possible way.
I’m happy for both of us. Tonight we celebrate the slavery from 9 to 5!
