Exciting weekend. I bought a plant!
My first plant actually. And not just some plant. An extraordinary one. It’s a plant well known as “Peace Lilly”
As well as absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen, as all plants do some plants eliminate significant amounts of various chemicals.
Surprising as it may be home environments often have more polluted air than outside due to the various chemicals and materials used inside our homes.
NASA has done research on house plants that are most effective at filtering air. Peace Lilly is one of the top ranking plants.
